Kantar TNS & Crunchr take deep dive in employee engagement
Focus Orange's workforce reporting and people analytics solution Crunchr and survey specialist Kantar TNS have jointly developed a new functionality for in depth analysis of engagement surveys. The platform relates the employee responses to their position or division of the organisation, to provide in depth insights on engagement among specific groups or sections of the workforce.
“We can help a company to localise engagement, interactively and in real time”, says Dirk Jonker, founding partner of Focus Orange and managing director of Crunchr. “Our analytics tool answers questions about engagement among new entrants in the company, about the comprehension on the company’s vision among new hires, or the perception on management in the French versus a Dutch business unit. It provides answers the company can act upon.”
The new functionality provides this detailed insight while maintaining the anonymity Kantar TNS always guarantees in its surveys, says client director Henrike Bijlstra. “The clever thing is that we categorise responses in groups with certain characteristics that can never be traced back to individual employees. This way we can provide more depth in our results without any infringement on employee privacy.”
Crunchr collects, validates and consolidates people data into meaningful insights around strategic workforce planning, succession, talent management and employee preferences. Clients have a keen interest in the engagement of employees and combining its analytics capabilities with Kantar TNS proficiency in engagement surveys provided a logical fit.
The new analysis tool has proven itself in a project for a major international corporation and is available as a module of the Crunchr analytics tool and in combination with Kantar TNS surveys. Dirk Jonker: “HR should combine different people data sources in order to get a holistic understanding of how people, organisation and business performance relate, in order to make better and more reliable decisions.”
